Dear Brethren

Happy-almost New Year!

As 2022 has come to an end, we can't help but reflect back on God's faithfulness through all the transitions we went through this past year - for me and my family personally, and for us as a church. I have so much gratitude in my heart, not only for how God has loved us, and cared for us in 2022, but for you brethren on the way you stood with us in prayers and financial assistance. As we are now in 2023, we want to invite you to join us in praying for our mission work for 2023.

SIGN LANGUAGE

I wish to go for sign language in 2023 if funds permits. This will help me to be able to communicate with deaf people be it in church or in community. Every time I meet the deaf people, I find it difficult to share the gospel with them.

DOOR TO DOOR KNOCKING

On the first and 2nd week of December,2022 we knocked close to 60 houses and shared the gospel. We delivered several lessons. Some appealed to us to revisit them again before some schools returns back to school on the 9th of January 2023.

ZIMBABWE'S CURRENT SITUATION

We always appeal for your prayers. Life in Zimbabwe is tough and not pleasant at all. The state of the economy continue to cause more problems and challenges for us and ordinary citizens.

It was announced that the elections for 2023 will be held in July or August 2023 and the political evironment is sliding into the tense mode as seen by the violence taking place in some places whenever the opposition parties try to do their campigns. Help us to pray for peace, harmony and love.May the Lord help us.

BIBLE STUDIES

We met for our Bible class for the past three weeks every Fridays in the evening. The turn up was bit slow as some of our members comes from far places and its rain season.

VISITING PROSPECTS

On third week of December,2023 we visited both our old and new prospects. Many had promised to revisit us for our church service in 2023. Please may you pray that God may open their hearts to the gospel we are sharing with them. Many of our prospects are from sects group whose leaders prohibits its followers not to read the Bible.

CHURCH PROJECT

Our small congregation seeks to do more by looking forward to venture into chicken project in 2023. About $500 is needed to construct a fowl run, treated poles, 50 chicks, broiler starter as well as finisher starter food.

Currently we have planted some corn in a rented field. With the good rains we had received in December if it continues in January and February, we might likely anticipate a good harvest.
