Dear Brethren.

It is our hope and prayer that this report finds you all in good health. We always cherish and appreciate you brothers and sisters by your humbleness, striving to please our Master through a commitment in supporting our mission work in Zimbabwe. By this, you have kept our mission work on the route to accomplish our vision and mission of spreading the gospel to the lost souls.

PERSONAL WORK:

We had a wonderful out reach personal evangelism during first and second week of January, 2023. We knocked doors at several houses. We also meet three elderly women who have been members of Church of Christ way back in 1975. Two of them are no longer able walk and see due to age. So we visit them twice every week in their homes. We share God, s Word and pray together.

PREACHING AT COMMUNITY CLINIC

I visited the community clinic twice in the third and fourth week of January, 2023. I had an opportunity to  preach and did a bit of counselling both to the staff and to the sick. I did also distributed several englist tracts.

MIDWEEK PRAYERS

We met throughout the whole month of January, 2023. We did some rotations of meeting in the houses of our members. The turn up was good because our members do also invited their neighbours and friends.

CLIMATE IN ZIMBABWE

We want to thank God for the rains which are being received in most parts of the country. If this rains continue up to the end of February, 2023, the harvest will be so good.

DEATH

On Sunday the 28th of January, 2023, we attended the memorial service of the late MR Kambalami. He was one of our prospect. I was one of the guest speakers there. Everything went well. He was 59 years old and left a wife with three grown up children.

PREACHING , ATTENDANCE AND CONTRIBUTION

I  preached the whole month and taught adult Bible class. The average attendance for the month was 13 -15. Our contribution for the month was US $23. Our giving is still low due to the fact that our members are not employed. Many survive by selling vegetable and vending.

PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Pray for our mission work.
  • Pray for my wife Esther, she is still struggling with her health.
  • Need for a bicycle to use in my evangelism work. I mentioned this in my last report.

Above all thank you for your continued financial support and prayer. May the Lord bless you all.

In Christ,

Nhamo and Esther Mumba
