Greetings to you all in Jesus name. Hope this report finds you all in good health. Time really flies and we are almost close to the end of 2025. July was so cold that many people were being affected by a strong flu similar to COVID. However, we just want to thank God for his divine protection. We are all doing well.
On the first week of July 2025 I teamed up with brother Kapfumo, Zumbika as well as brother Ndikudzei and visited Chigwida village. Chikwida village is just close to Mutungagore village where we knocked several homes teaching and sharing the gospel to many people both young and old. We met several people who were so much interested to study God’s word. Pray that God will continue opening their hearts to the gospel.
We also managed to distribute more English tracts which we hope is going to help them understand some of the Bible lessons which we presented to them. We look forward to revisiting this place by end of September 2025.
There are so many desperate needs among many of the Lord's people caused by the economic crisis the country has faced for a number of years. This has left close to 90 percent of the population without regular employment. High unemployment means that majority of people as well as preachers have no financial support from their churches and are unable to find regular employment to support themselves and their families. For this reason we want to thank you brothers and sisters at Oregon City for your sacrificial love and financial support which you are giving us. May that spirit continue to be with you even to your children as well as to your grandchildren.
On the 2nd week of July, we visited Nyazura farm prison twice with brother Mukuze. While there we had a great opportunity of sharing and taught Bible lessons both to the inmates as well as to the staff. We managed to baptize two inmates.
The need for Bibles among these inmates as well the staff is great. Many of the Zimbabwean people are too poor to own a Bible.
During the month of July, 2025 we witnessed three deaths. One for our fellow preacher brother Gwinya and the other two were for the wives of our fellow preachers. Brother Simba and I met each other in those funerals. Travel to those funerals was difficult due to using public transport. The journeys we travelled were very far, but we want to thank God that we managed to be with others during those funerals.
On the 19th of July 2025, we had a wonderful Sunday fellowship service at Folkington Primary School in Nyazura. The worship service was so vibrant, welcoming number of attendees. Brother Jephat Mugweni was the guest speaker. He spoke about the power of prayer and soon after he finished his sermon, we saw about 35 people who stood up asking for some prayer requests.
I was touched by one of the old grandmother aged around 70 years old, saying she is living in fear of her grandson who is involved in drugs. He comes home drunk and demands that his grandmother give him some money to buy beer.
On the 3rd week we visited the sick members and other sick elderly people in the village community. We shared the word of God praying together and assured them all to be well in the name of our Lord Jesus.
I preached two Sundays and taught adult Bible class for three Sundays. Brother Zumbika preached once. Our average church attendance for the month of July was 24 to 28. Our giving averaged 15 dollars per week.
We do also pray for you all there and for some challenges you might be facing as a church. Thank you also for your love, care and financial support. May the Lord bless you all.
Your brother in Christ.
