Dear Brethren.

Greetings to you all in Jesus name. Hope this report finds you all in good health. We thank God for his divine protection during the month of June. It was indeed a cold month associated with cold and many people were greatly attacked by strong flu similar to COVID.

EVANGELISM WORK

On the first two weeks of June, 2024 we visited Mbiriri village which is about 16 km east from Mutungagore Church. Mbiriri village is one of the areas that has been neglected for decades due to its remoteness and village allocation. There is not even a congregation there. It is an area dominated by Pentecostalism, mainline denominations and ancestor worship, but we thank God that after our two weeks door to door knocking, we now have over 15 prospects. We shall continue having studies with them. Pray that God will open their hearts to the gospel.

FOLLOW UPS

On the 3rd week of June, 2024 we did a follow up  both for our church members and our old prospects. But one thing I noticed is that many people are truly struggling to survive. Food is the major challenging factor due to drought situation. So we need your prayers that our members will not drift away. We have so many churches who are offering food to their poor church members.

SUNDAY CHURCH SERVICE

On the 15th of June , 2024 we travelled to one of our church members, the Mabika family, where we had our church service. The Mabika family lives about 15 km away from our church and they travel on foot every Sunday for the church service. I am happy to inform you that brother Mabika is now at Bible school after I made him a recommendation to go and study. He started early May this year. Pray that he may continue his studies despite some challenges as a student. He has children who are at school who need school fees as well as food. When I received my support in June I did help to pay his kids school fees and he was so happy. So Pray for him.

DROUGHT SITUATION

The current drought situation in our nation is really affecting millions of people. People are struggling to have food on table. The government is failing to meet the demand of hunger which is affecting the people. Sometimes this will also end up affecting our evangelism work because it's very hard for a hungry person to pay attention to the gospel whilst he or she is hungry. Pray that God will help our struggling people

BUILDING FUND

I am so much glad to inform you that our building fund raising project is doing well despite that most of our poor members struggle to find one dollar at the end of month or week. So far we have raised about 300 dollars.

CHURCH ATTENDANCE/PREACHING AND GIVING

I preached three Sundays during the month of June 2024 and taught adult Bible class two Sundays. Brother Zumbika preached once and taught adults Bible class twice. Our average attendance for the month of June 2024 was 25.

PRAYER REQUESTS

  • May you please continue to pray for our mission work and the need for a better transport as we move around doing God's work.
  • Pray for Peace and his brother as they are now writing their midterm exams before schools closes in the first week of August, 2024.

We do also pray for you all there at Oregon City. Thank you also for your financial support and prayers. Without your love and support our mission work could be so difficult. We love you all.

God bless you all.
