Dear Brethren,

I send greetings to you all our loving brothers and sisters reading this report in Jesus name. Time realy flies! We are now almost into half of the year. May you please enjoy reading my report.

RESTORATION

We are happy to inform you that during our home visitation for our church members,we made two restorations. Please remember these brethren in your prayers. Their names are Tawanda Munetsi and Chipo Gotora.

PERSONAL EVANGELISM WORK

On the 2nd week of May, 2023 we continued with our door to door knocking. We met several people who were very much interested to study God's word. Two of the men we met during that door to door knocking came to attend our church service. They were very much interested with the way we conduct our church service as well as the Bible class. They promised to come back again. So pray for them that the Lord may open their hearts to the gospel.

VISITATION FOR HEALTH CONCERN BRETHREN

On third week of May, 2023 I visited several sick people, both our church members and those in the community. Please pray for sister Chipo's mother is currently battling with breast cancer. The doctors said that there few chances for to survive because the cancer has spread all over the body.

NEED FOR NEW HYMNS AND SHONA BIBLES

Most of our church members are greatly in need of new hymn books as well as Shona Bibles. At times it becomes so difficult as we will be having our Bible class seeing three people sharing one torn Bible. Many can't afford to buy one Shona Bible at $20. At least if we can have 20 shona Bibles and 20 hymn books as a church it will help alot.

GRIEVING THE LOSS OF LOVED ONES

Gene Kashiri's mom passed away last Monday. James brother passed away in South Africa after being attacked by thugs on his way back home from work and was buried in Chikanga in Mutare here in Zimbabwe.

SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP

On the 28th of May, 2023 we had a combination of 4 sister congregations for our Sunday fellowship at Forkington. The invited guest speaker delivered a touching sermon from the book of Jonah 3:1-6. However, the attendance was generally very low due to the fact that most people couldn't afford the transport cost. After the church everyone got lunch.

PRAYER REQUESTS

  • May you please pray for a peaceful harmonised elections scheduled 23rd of August 2023 in our country.
  • Pray for our mission work and a need for a bicycle to use for evangelism work. At times I find it hard to travel more than 10 km on foot.

Lastly, I want to thank you for your continued financial support and prayers. We do also pray for all of you there.

May the Lord bless you all.

In Christ,
Nhamo Mumba
