Dear Brethren in Christ, I am hereby kindly sending you the report for November 2024. Hope this report finds you all in good health.
EVANGELISM EFFORT
During the first week of November, 2024 we collectively knocked over 30 households and taught over 8 Bible lessons, reaching many hearts with the message of salvation. Our diligent efforts bore the fruit of 2 restored members who had previously strayed from the faith. However, as I reflect on the successful evangelism outreach for November 2024, we also faced challenges. Due to long distances that we walk on foot it takes time to reach several homes. At times we reach home being tired with swollen legs.
FOLLOW UPS
On the 2nd week of November 2024, we continued doing follow up work with the contacts made in the first week. We also continued to knock doors. Each time we go out for follow up, I always remember brother Robert Louis Stevenson as saying, and I quote, "Don,t judge each day by the harvest you reap ,but by the seed you plant".
BAPTISM AND RESTORATION
We had one baptism and two restorations during the month of November 2024. We really praise God
PRISON MINISTRY
On the 3rd of November 2024, brother Mukuze and I visited Nyazura Prison. We managed to contact a Bible study with the inmates as well as the staff. Brother Mukuze preached a powerful sermon from the book of Isaiah 1:18 to 19.
VISITORS
On Sunday 24 November 2024, our sister congregation Nyazura Church of Christ visited us. Their presence brought encouragement to our members. I have learnt that in our journey of faith, it is vital to connect with fellow believers not only to strengthen our relationship but also encourage growth in our spiritual walk
CHURCH ATTENDANCE/PREACHING AND GIVING
I preached twice during the month of November, 2024 and taught adult Bible class for two Sundays. Brother Zumbika preached two Sundays while brother Nyarukowa taught adult Bible class for two Sundays. Our average attendance for the month of November was 25. Our giving averaged 45 dollars.
NEW HOUSE
We thank God that after a long struggle of accommodation as family, we want to express our gratitude thanks to the church at Oregon City Church of Christ for the financial support which you gave to me and my family. We are now happily in our new house which we bought through your support. May the Lord bless you all for your unwavering financial support.
PRAYER REQUESTS
We also want to continue to thank you for your financial support and daily prayers. You too are also in our prayers as we are coming close to the year 2024. We love you all.
In His Arms.
