Dear Brethren in Christ. Greetings to you all in Jesus name. Let me take this time to thank you in advance as you will be taking your time in reading our mission report for September, 2023.

WOMEN TRAINING WORKSHOP

As from 10-13 September we had a women training workshop at our church.  The workshop was a broader in scope, for all the women, who had experienced various forms of pain, suffering, sickness, loss, addiction, abandonment, abuse and etc. The workshop was attended by both our church members and other few women from the village.  The workshop training was being conducted by sister Ngonidzashe.

TRIP TO CHIPUNZA VILLAGE

On the 18 to 20 brother Nesbert and I were in Chikwa. We went there after being invited by brother Tobisa who has been in South Africa. While there we went ķnocking door to door.

DOOR TO DOOR KNOCKING

On the first week of September we managed to spent time with the learners. We entered so many homestead and preached Christ.  We also managed to distribute over 700 tracts.

CLINIC VISIT

On the third I had an opportunity of visiting a nearby clinic where I preached to both the staff and to the patients.  I also had a time to do counselling to people who had been tested positive to HIV. Some of these people requested to be revisited in their homes for more counselling.

CURRENT SITUATION IN ZIMBABWE

As I write this report our economy is greatly becoming too bad.  Prices of some food stuff had gone up so badly.  Many people are greatly facing hunger.  As a result several of the school drop-outs end up involved in taking drugs beating people during the night and Rob off people's money as well as some phones.

CHURCH ATTENDANCE, PREACHING AND GIVING

Our average church attendance for September, 2023 was 18 -20 . I preached the whole of September and taught adults Bible study. Our giving was partially much better than other months.

PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Pray for my family as well as our mission work.
  • Pray about the growing suffering of people due to political tension.
  • Pray that our people will know God's provision and peace under this current political situation.
  • Pray for more open doors for the gospel.
  • May you please kindly remember my family and I. The issue of accommodation is really troubling us day night.  Rentals has gone up so high and my children are also being affected as they need a decent rooms to sleep.  It is our prayer that the Lord may provide us with some funds and be able to have our own permanent accommodation.

In conclusion.  Thank you for your financial support as well as your prayers for the mission work here. Without your support we would not be able to pull up our mission work.  May the Lord bless you all as we will be also praying for the church there.

Your brother.
