Grace mercy and peace to you from God the Father and our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
August was a busy month, the cool weather continued in the morning and sunset until the end of the month. The church members were happy to harvest their little tomatoes at the church site. The first week we received visitors from Hobhohouse in town, we baptized our four youths one boy and three girls. The second week l moved 10km to and from to preach. The third week our Masvingo mission was accomplished. At the end of the month, we attended a National men's fellowship held at Mutare school of preaching.
Every church member was satisfied with the harvest they get in the tomato field, those who persisted to work saw it necessary when they come to collect the produce, they were happy to see a bumper harvest. Next time to those who refused saw the vital role of taking the lead in our day to day living. My harvest was fruitful this month, the elasticity of demand was a response to the supply, the supply was high, demand was low the price was low again. I need to fence my garden with the money l collected. The type of wire I will afford is 1,5m tall ,250mm thickness. I need 7×30m wire but so far, I have the money for 90m. The ground will cover 200m. When we put fence at our garden it reduces the risk of fire, animal breaking.
Bro and sister Mazenza and sister Mangwiro visited us on the 4th, we had a wonderful moment listening to the Bible study as well as preaching God's word. The people appreciated during confessions time, the message reached to people. I led the singing as requested by the speaker. The songs were beautiful. The same day we baptized our youths including Laura Gondo, Deneil Chagaka, Taiwan Dudzai, and Tinashe Mandianike boy. We are praying for them not to change their new creature as they are enjoying God's blessings. All of them are grade 7 candidates except Tadiwa. We wish them a better achievement this September until October.
On the 12th the whole country were remembering heroes and heroines in Bazel had a cemetery. I took the opposite direction 5km North of Bazel. At Gwena, the family of Bro Mukono my elder preacher phoned me to take the lead after his wife became critically ill. My acceptance makes my preacher humble down to earth. I unveiled 9 tombstones on the same day, and I preached to the gathering of 300. We ate the lunch together and the family appreciate me with 2 dollars for transport.
Together with my wife, mom and mom's young sister, we travelled to Masvingo on the 22nd from morning until the setting sun. Other relatives met us at Mashoko Mission Church of Christ. Masvingo is a place of origin of my mom ,there are only three left of my mom’s family: my mom, her sister, and brother. They were 6. When we arrived, the house was dusty and no preparations were made. We planned to start working as soon as we got there, but we failed to work the 23rd because there was a funeral nearby. The Headman warned us not to work because of the funeral. We worked hard to construct my grandparents’ tombstones and my mother was very happy. l was questioned by my uncles why we initiated it, those who questioned me were not present. The headman and the village head were present. We travelled the 25th back home all was done by the power of God
On the 28th l supplied 80kg of tomatoes at a National men's fellowship from August 29-1st of September. We also pitched the tent to be used at the fellowship The 30th together with Br Kamutambo we went to Watsomba to comfort the family who was remembering their loved ones. l preached at Mukoyi family at a gathering of 30. We had lunch after service. We got back to the fellowship to finish. Everything went well and we want to thank some preachers who were preaching to us as the message was relevant.
