Dear Brethren.

Christian greetings to you all in the name of our Lord Jesus. It is my prayer that this report finds you all in good health. February marked the end of the 2nd month in 2025, and we thank God that he guided us through it.

DOOR TO DOOR KNOCKING

During the first week of February, we visited Zambuko village for knocking door-to-door. We knocked several homes where we shared the gospel to both the youth and to the elderly people. During sharing the gospel some people were free to ask some questions. We had two young girls who are now attending our Sunday services because of this effort. Pray that the Lord will open their hearts to the gospel as we continue studying with them.

JAIL MINISTRY

On the second week of February, we visited Nyazura farm prison twice. I had an opportunity to preach both to the prisoners and the staff.  Many of these inmates seems to be so much interested to study God’s word. I have a young man who is serving 3 years in prison by the name Amos Mwale. Mwale is so much interested in studying his Bible. His desire and wishes after his term in jail is over is to go for Bible school.

WORKSHOP

On the third week of February 2025, we had a two-day workshop as a church. Our workshop was mainly on church evangelism. Our guest speaker was brother Sedze. The guest speaker emphasized vital evangelism work as a church. He quoted on the book of Matthew 28:18-20.

VISITING THE SICK

On the 4th week of February brother Zumbika and I had an opportunity of visiting some of our sick members and some elderly sick people in the community. It is unfortunate that one of the old men whom we visited last Thursday died last Friday and I am the one who was asked by the headman to conduct his funeral on Saturday. Everything went very well

SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP

On the 23rd of February we had Sunday fellowship at Magamba Church of Christ. Our average attendance was over 150. The guest speaker was evangelist Mwanyara and he did a wonderful job.

BUILDING FUND

On the 23rd of January 2025 I received 500 dollars from Oregon City Church of Christ as part of building fund for last year. The bank charge was 20 dollars, that means I withdrew 480 dollars.  We are currently using that money to renovate a small house for the church. We had already finished plastering both outside as well as inside. We need to paint that small house. Soon after that we need also to renovate our church toilets.

CHURCH ATTENDANCE/PREACHING AND GIVING

I preached 3 Sundays during the month of February 2025. Brother Zumbika taught adult Bible class for three Sundays. Our average church attendance was 24 -26. Our average church contribution was 40 dollars.

PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Pray for our mission work and some challenges that we face such as need for transport during our movement.
  • Pray for our country especially with the economic challenges which we are facing. Many companies had closed sitting economic challenges.
  • Pray for my family.

Lastly i continue to give thanks to you, Brethren, for your financial support as well as prayers. Without you our mission would be so difficult. Pray also for Simba and his family especially for all the temptations he is facing due to a young man who slashed his maize field. We do also pray for you all. God bless you all.
In Christ.
