Dear Brethren,

Greetings to you all in Jesus name. Hope this report finds you all in good health. As we reflect on the past year, we are filled with gratitude for the incredible work through our mission work in 2024. 2024 has been a year full of great  struggle, but we thank God for taking us through.

EVANGELISM WORK

During the month of  January 2025, I played a pivotal role in effort across Mutungagore village. We visited several homes sharing the gospel both to the old and young people. We distributed several Bible tracts with different Bible lessons. It is our prayers that those tracts may open the hearts of the people as they continue reading them

PRISON MINISTRY

In the month of January we visited Nyazura farm prison twice. We delivered several Bibles lessons as well  as four sermons. Many of these inmates have asked us to give them Bibles. But it is unfortunately that we don't have funds to be able to buy some Bibles. Pray  that the Lord may continue opening their  hearts to the gospel.  It is our prayers that one day if funds permits we will be able to purchase some Bibles and donate them  to some interested inmates .

DEATH

Our sympathy goes  to Mr Nyathi one of our church member who lost his only daughter Grace during some demonstrations by opposition party in Mozambique.  Grace was married to a Mozambican nationality. The couple had only one child aged 3 years. Grace was one of our strongest youth before she was married by a man in Mozambique. May her soul rest in peace.

FOLLOW UPS

During the 3rd week of January 2025, we made several follow ups for our both old and new coverts. We are happy to report that we managed to meet all of our converts. We shared with them several Bible lessons and prayed for to continue studying the Bible. After this effort we have now two couples who have expressed their interest to come and attend our church services  every Sunday.

SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP

On Sunday the 25th of January we had a wonderful Sunday fellowship at Sharara Church of Christ. The attendance was quite very good. The guest speaker spoke on the need of supporting evangelism work. We were quite blessed.

THE RAINS

We thank God for the rains we are getting since the beginning of January 2025. Pray that this year may be bit much better. People are struggling to have food on the table.

CHURCH ATTENDANCE/PREACHING AND GIVING

I preached three Sundays and taught adult Bible class one Sunday. Brother Zumbika preached one Sunday whilst brother Nyarukowa taught adult Bible class for three Sundays. Our average church attendance for the month of January averaged between 23 to 25. Our average contribution was 45 dollars.

PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Pray for our mission work as well as my family.
  • Pray that the Lord will continue helping us in our evangelism work.
  • My most challenge in the evangelism work is that of transport. Many of our church members live from far places. Every time i go out for evangelism work i had to walk a distance of 10km on foot and reach home being very tired. Sometimes if a church members feel sick it's difficult to walk during night and attend the person. Pray that one day the Lord will be able to provide with a car to use for the mission work we are doing here.

Above all I just want to thank you all brethren for the financial support as well as your prayers. Without your support our mission work would have been so difficult.

Your brother in Christ,
Nhamo Mumba
