Dear Brethren.

Christian greetings to you all in Jesus’ name. I am happy to share with you my report for mission work done in July,2023.The charge by Paul to Timothy to 'Preach the Word” remains a noble task to us and even for the generation to come. 

CLIMATIC CONDITION

The month of July was one of the coldest months. In some parts of the country trees, plants in gardens as well as mental people who lived in the streets died of coldness. In our community we had witnessed two death of mental persons who died due to harsh weather. Above all we want to thank God for his divine protection upon myself and my family.

EVANGELISM WORK

On the first two weeks of July,2023 I have been so busy doing door to door knocking in the village. During that time, I had to walk almost 5km on foot in order to reach another home. At times I would reach home so tired, and the next morning do the same thing. May you please continue to pray for every soul we reached with the gospel.

SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP

On 30th of July,2023 we had a blessed Sunday fellowship at Resthaven Church of Christ. The attendance was quite very big as compared to the other previous fellowships. The invited guest speaker did a wonderful job. Three people got baptized on that very day. After church service everyone was served with lunch.

VISITING THE SICK

On third week I visited sick members and other sick people in the community. During that time, I had a chat with one of the sick members. She can’t walk and she needs a three wheeled bicycle to help to move. She is a mother of 4 children, all girls. The other two young girls are also disabled. They are in desperate need of blankets as well as food and clothing.

VISIT TO THE FARM PRISON

On Friday the 28th of July,2023. brother Zvinzveku and I visited Nyazura farm prison. While there, we met with some inmates and shared with them the gospel. The chaplain at that farm prison is one of our church members. We distributed more tracts.

CHURCH ATTENDANCE,PREACHING AS WELL AS GIVING

Our average church attendance for July,2023 was 16 to 18. I taught adult Bible class for three weeks and preached twice. Our giving for the month of July was $35 after we converted it from the Zimbabwean dollars. 


PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Need for a transport to help during church work movements. At times when a member becomes sick or dies, they need to see the preacher in time. At night one can call the preacher for emergency help.
  • We need a bore hole at our church. We have a big challenge of getting clean water especially this coming summer season.
  • Pray for our country as we are now approaching elections on the 23rd of August. We need peace not war as well as shedding of blood like in the previous elections.
  • Pray for my 8 son Peace. He was bitten by a wild dog yesterday while playing outside. He was bitten on the stomach. Pray for speedy recovery .
  • Finally pray for us as a family and the Lord’s work.
