March 2024 Mission Report from Simbarshe

Grace, mercy and peace to you from God the Father and our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.

We received good rains the second week of the month in Bazel, and other parts of places were  dry . Together with my son Leal we celebrated our birthdays.

• The first week I attended a funeral in Mwandiambira village. We received a sad note after one of our fellow preachers lost an asset.
• The second week I helped my wife's sister when she was in the hospital.
• The third week I lost a brother's wife. Antichrist are baptizing everyone and promising people some food stuff after registering to their church. We visited sister Mapindu an oldest woman in the church.
• The fourth week sister Gamunorwa was restored back to Christ. At the end of the month, I received the support for April, May and June. My gratitude is great as far as your love is concerned. 

On the 4^th day, I attended the burial of Elias Mwandiambira aged 45 who died in the hospital after he spent three days without going to the toilet. They had a misunderstanding with a brother in the night. Two men who were passing went there to resolve the conflict, but he took out an axe and ran after them. One of the men took a brick and threw it, striking Elias in his stomach, damaging his pancreas so severely that he died. He was a member of the Evangelical church. Four preachers from different churches attended his funeral and I was assigned to pray.

Leal my son reached 6 years ,he asked me to buy the cake on his birthday, but I had to suspended it when I attended funeral, I had to do it the next day my day of birth as we celebrated together. I am 41 years old. Leal is intelligent. His schoolwork is good everything is perfect so far. The school was closed on the 27^th. Laura was the second and our plan is to send her to the boarding school when she succeeds her final exams in September this year. 

Brother Sedze from Rusape, a preacher at Restavern church 0f Christ, found his house in ashes after attending a funeral in Nyanga. The house was gutted by the fire, and nothing could be recovered. Together with my wife we contributed the little we have as our help. The house took him 14 years to construct. Within a little while it was destroyed. I was touched by this incident may the good Lord restore his property back to him. 

The second week on the 8th I attended a lecture at Sakubva church of Christ from brother Philemon from India. His words were about seek and save the lost souls, it was a good message, and we were encouraged to continue in our work. In the afternoon I went to the hospital to see my wife's sister Eunice who was pregnant. The delay that happened was a miracle from God, she ate sadza then the doctor wanted to operate her first, but I came and prayed before operation. After prayer she was called, and I went to buy some medicine for her after the operation. The operation was needed because the umbilical cord was wrapped twice around the baby’s neck and the hypertension of the mother was too high. I waited for  her two hours, and I visited her in pain . The baby was safely delivered but was premature. The next day I was accompanied by my wife to see her again and we spent almost 50 dollars to help her. Her husband could not afford it as he is not working. While I was away visiting my wife’s sister, I lost some broiler chicks. I had assigned someone to take care of them, but he forgot to give them water and the day was too hot.  

The third week I attended the funeral of my late brother's wife who suffered from cervical cancer for quite a long time. My brother died in 2004 from HIV/AIDS and left a wife with three kids after 15 years of marriage. My brother's wife was left with nothing, she struggled and raised her kids until they all found jobs. They are all working good jobs in diamond mining now. She was buried on the 11th and the attendance was 1500 people. 

The Antichrist are performing a disaster as they invite everyone, write names, and baptize all who come without teaching them. They follow every church of Christ member, telling them to leave the church and follow them. When we visited sister Mapindu she openly told us that she was taken to church with a twin cab and dropped her home, but she opened her heart and told them the church she wanted. Please pray for us during this time of hunger. People are desperate because they are starving, and they are easily tempted with promises of food.

We finally harvested even though there were many obstacles. The sun was too excessive, the baboons were hungrier and more stayed close to the garden. It was a hard time this year but thank God we harvested a little. 

Sister Kuwaza lost her mother on the 22^nd. Together with my wife we visited to sympathize with her as we helped her with the little money we had; 5 dollars. On the 24th sister Gamunorwa was restored back to Christ after a long time ago about 6 months ago. 

We last received electricity on the 25th of December 2023 . The thieves broke down the transformer and stole all the oil. Zesa company didn't manage the problem in time until it was fixed on the 27th of March, but we experienced load shedding again.
